Day 1: NAIROBI - MAASAI MARA

Today, you will drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest's migration and is home of the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino). Enjoy lunch at your camp.

Relax before departing for the afternoon game run. The Mara Game Reserve is one of the greatest wildlife on earth. Large mammals are varied and easy to see. Residents among the parks are Maasai giraffes, buffaloes, eland, and thousand of plain game including impala, zebra, topi, and both Thomson's and Grant's gazelles.

Day 2: MAASAI MARA

The search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues today during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During your stay, you will have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai people to witness their singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.

Day 3: MAASAI MARA - NAKURU

Enjoy a pre-breakfast game drive between 6:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m after which you will return to the campsite for a hot breakfast. After breakfast, proceed to Nakuru. Dinner and overnight stay at Golden Palace Resort, which is a budget hotel in Nakuru.

Day 4: LAKE NAKURU - AMBOSELI

After breakfast, proceed for a game drive in the Rhino Sanctuary, which is home to a colony of about 25 white and black rhinos. Predators are also resident in the park. Later, you will leave for Amboseli via Nairobi with lunch en-route. You will arrive in the late evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: AMBOSELI

Today, you will rise early to enjoy good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit and set off for a game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from wildebeests to giraffes to baboons. A visit to a Maasai village is planned after breakfast. Midday finds you at your lodge for lunch and an afternoon rest, followed by another game drive.
Amboseli is home to the legendary Maasai tribesmen. Maasai warriors are famous and proud nomadic tribe, whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 6: AMBOSELI - NAIROBI - DEPART

Get ready for a pre-breakfast game drive and return to campsite for a full breakfast. Check-out and head to Nairobi to arrive in the late afternoon. This will be the end of your six-day Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli safari tour.
You will be dropped off at Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO).
